I have loved knives since the first one I was given, as a boy of 9 years old. They are the single, most useful tool invented. My passion took a turn a couple of years ago when I started making knives as a hobby. This hobby is now growing into something more. There is great number of people who share my love of knives, and I want to share my knives with you.
I have an extensive background in the use of knives, both as utility and tactical tools. I was raised on a farm in Tennessee. I have raised crops and livestock, as well as camped, hunted and fished all of my life. I have trained in martial and tactical arts for over 30 years. I hold a 5th Degree Black Belt and have retired from teaching. My weapons studies included 15 years training in Philippine arts, which centered around the stick and the knife. I have trained hundreds of students, many were police, military and security personnel, in the use of bladed techniques.
This resume doesn't make me the best maker, but it does give me an insight as to what is required from a good knife, a drive to make the best knife I can, and give a value to those who choose my knives. I carry at least one of my blades daily. If I can not trust my blades, why should you?
Knives were one of man's first tools. Everyone should own one (or two....).
